I’m so excited to host an intimate and festive afternoon for those interested in finding their own personal style of brush lettering. You’ll use paint brushes and watercolour paints to explore the art of writing words. I’ll explain my own personal creative journey with lettering and calligraphy and share my personal process for lettering as well as my favourite brushes, paints, papers etc. You’ll be guided through exercises to break out of your usual handwriting style and learn how to both embrace and challenge your writing tendencies. It will be mostly one-on-one coaching time to help you implement new approaches to lettering. Paint, brushes and paper included in workshop fee, which you will take with you to continue your practice at home. By the end of the workshop, you will have greeting cards and personalized gift tags, hand lettered by YOU to give out during the holidays.
